So you may have seen pictures of these jellies around the net and wondered where this is. It’s “Jellyfish Lake” a deep lagoon on  Eil Malk island in Palau.The lagoon is connected to the sea through caves and tunnels in the porous limestone of the island, however the jellyfish in this lake have been cut off from the ocean and other lagoons for centuries. The jellyfish are Golden Jellyfish (Mastigias cf. papua etpisoni).
